Texas Plant Disease Diagnostic LabThe Texas Plant Disease Diagnostic Laboratory will be closing at one o'clock p.m. on Thursday, August 30th for the first Aggie Football game of the season. Please make note when submitting samples in for diagnostic services. Operation hours for the TPDDL is 8:00 am – 5:00pm Monday-Friday (except on holidays – see Texas A&M Academic Calendar)
The theme for this year's conference is Sustainability in Arboriculture and will kick off Wednesday Sept. 26th with CEU opportunities at the Tree Academy. Then on Thursday and Friday you can enjoy the Tree Conference and Trade Show which includes educational tracks for Commercial, Municipal and Utility Arborists, an awards luncheon, networking socials, receptions and more. Our diagnostician, Sheila McBride, will be in attendance as a featured speaker.
Our Diagnostician will be out of the laboratory and office due to extension specialist duties.
The Texas Plant Disease Diagnostic Laboratory will be closing at 11 am on Wednesday, Nov. 21st and all day on Thursday, Nov. 22nd and Friday, Nov. 23th for the Thanksgiving holiday. If you plan to send samples, please ensure that they will be received by our lab by Friday, Nov. 16th or it is suggested you wait until we are back to our normal business hours, Monday, Nov. 26th.
